Building America, (2026 - ongoing)

Documents Latin American immigrant construction workers across New York and New Jersey, men and women building the American dream for others while facing an increasingly uncertain future.

Today, Building America asks: Who is really building this country? The very workers who raise New York's skyscrapers and New Jersey's suburbs are the ones being told they do not belong. They are essential to the economy, yet treated as disposable. These workers take profound pride in their craft, seeing their fingerprints on the physical landscape and yearning not for recognition but for belonging.

Building America was first presented at the Biblioteca Pública Piloto as part of the second Latin American Documentary Photography Laboratory and the third Medellin Photography Festival.
